By joining 4-H, members also have the opportunity to meet new friends, develop self-confidence, earn scholarships, travel, as well as gain leadership, teamwork and decision-making abilities. And the best part, everyone is always welcome!
If you are between six and 25 years of age, are interested in learning new skills and love to work on cool projects, than 4-H is definitely the place for you.

4-H Members are grouped in to these age categories (as of December 31 of the program year):

  • Cloverbud - ages 6 to 8
  • Junior - ages 9 to 12
  • Intermediate - ages 13 to 15
  • Senior - ages 16 to 21
  • Future Leader - ages 22 - 25 (different that other age categories, Future Leaders can only complete the Advancing Forward project)

4-H members choose one or more project to work on throughout the year. From the popular beef and horse projects, to gardening and exploring the outdoors, there is a project for everyone.  Check out the Project Selection Guide to see all of the 4-H Projects available!

4-H is a club-based program. There are clubs all over Saskatchewan. If there is not a club in your community, you can start your own with just four members and one leader! Please contact the provincial office at 306-933-7727 to find a club in your community.
