Archery Event

The Wild Berry 3D Archery Shoot, hosted by the Kyle Multiple 4-H Club, took place on Saturday & Sunday, July 25th & 26th. Though the numbers were small, with only nine members competing representing two clubs, the members and leaders were enthusiastic. Members shot two rounds of 20 targets on Saturday for the one day competition. Those that chose to stay shot a third round of 25 targets on Sunday.

Members were scored based on where they hit the target and their shooting distances varied depending on the skill level of the member. Awards were handed out for the one day competition with the winners as follows:

1st CloverBud ? Kade Cheney, Kyle Multiple 4-H Club
1st Junior ? Scott Hoffarth, Shaunavon Multiple 4-H Club
2nd Junior ? Bram Box-Frame, Kyle Multiple 4-H Club
1st Intermediate ? Connor Luchsigner, Kyle Multiple
2nd Intermediate ? Allen Hoffarth, Shaunavon Multiple
1st Senior ? Ameena Luchsinger, Kyle Multiple 4-H Club
2nd Senior ? Tom Lewis, Kyle Multiple 4-H Club

A big thank to Stan Figley, Vice President of the Saskatchewan 4-H Council for coming and supporting the event. And to the Kyle Multiple 4-H Club for putting on such a great event. All 4-H members are welcome to compete, please watch for details on the 2010 Wild Berry 3D Archery Shoot.
