4-H Saskatchewan is seeking an outgoing student with exemplary attention to detail to join the Provincial 4-H Office staff team for the summer.
The position will provide a variety of work experiences in a small office environment. Primary duties will be organizing and categorizing historical documents and photos and assisting in preparing resources and programming for the 2017-18 4-H year.
KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES
The ideal candidate is proficient with the Microsoft Office suite. Familiarity with the Adobe Creative Suite is an asset.
Strong writing skills required.
Ability to work independently and effectively with minimal supervision in a team environment.
4-H knowledge or experience is preferred.
Examine, organize, digitize, archive, collect and categorize historical documents, photos, items and materials in preparation for 100th Anniversary of 4-H Saskatchewan
Coordinate the development of special commemorative displays or marketing tools for the 100th Anniversary
Support the facilitation of 4-H Saskatchewan projects related to 4-H Canada / Canada 150
Offer support, advice and suggestions and develop tools for clubs and third-party organizations to display and celebrate the 100th Anniversary of 4-H Saskatchewan
Assist in preparing resources and programming for the 2017-18 4-H year
Offer other support to staff which may include: Assist in revising documents and forms; filing and data-entry; creating and revising resources and tools for 4-H leaders; Provide assistance and support to other Council personnel, as requested
be between 15 and 30 years of age;
have been registered as full-time students in the previous academic year and intend to return to school on a full-time basis in the next academic year;
be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person to whom refugee protection has been conferred
This is a full-time, term position until August 22 based in Saskatoon.
